What is your warranty on materials and labor?
We stand behind all of the manufactures warranties. The warranties differ by product. Some suppliers have a lifetime warranty on their products. Our warranty on our labor is one year which is standard in the industry. Generally any issues pertaining to labor will be obvious within the first couple of weeks.
What type of insurances does Split Rail Fence carry?
Split Rail carries General Liability, Workmen’s Compensation and Auto insurance for all of our vehicles. We are fully insured and covered to work on any commercial or residential project. Our installers are not sub contracted, they work directly for Split Rail and are covered by our insurance.
How do I maintain my cedar fence?
Cedar is maintenance free; therefore, no stain, seal or paint needs to be applied. You may choose to apply stain or paint for aesthetics to obtain a desired color; however, it is not necessary.
Does Split Rail Fence install fences year round?
Split Rail Fence installs fences all year round. It is sometimes better to install the fences later in the year including winter when the turf and plants are dormant and sprinkler systems are shut down minimizing disturbance to the existing landscaping.
What type of fences does Split Rail Fence install?
Split Rail Fence installs all types of fences including cedar, Trex, vinyl, ornamental iron, chain link, masonry fence, barbed wire fence as well as any other type of fence and automatic gates.
Do you sell materials only?
Yes, we have the largest inventory of fence products in the Rocky Mountain Region. If we do not have the material in stock, we can usually order it.
Who will obtain permits for my fence?
Split Rail Fence will generally obtain the permit, however, in some cases, the homeowner may elect to obtain the permit particularly when there are variances or special requirements.
How long has Split Rail Fence been in business?
Split Rail Fence has been in business for over 33 years. The business was started in 1974.
What are my payment options?
We accept cash, check and credit cards (Visa, MasterCard, and Discover). We are also able to help with any financing a customer or homeowners association needs to acquire.
Does Split Rail Fence use subcontractors or do you have your own crews?
All of our fence installation crews work directly for Split Rail Fence. We generally do not have any subcontractors installing fences. Furthermore, our finish crews are paid on an hourly basis assuring time is taken to complete the job correctly. In some instances such as masonry walls, entryway monuments and gates which require masons or electricians may be subcontracted out, particularly when it requires a licensed electrician.
