Denver Curtis Park Development
| | In September 2009, the Denver Housing Authority selected the Split Rail Fence and Supply Company to provide fencing for a unique project designed to provide solar powered electricity to its Curtis Park Development. The project is located between Arapahoe and Lawrence and 2th and 26th Streets.
The fencing was designed and fabricated to provide an esthetically pleasing surrounding structure for the solar panels which will power the Curtis Park Community.
The fence structure installed consisted of three components:
1.) Six foot high black ornamental fence panels supplied by Ameristar Corporation.
2.) Eight foot high galvanized silver panels were fabricated by Split Rail Fence using welded sheet frames and standard steel stair tread.
3.) Solar powered lights were installed on the silver panels in order to light the sidewalks or paths at night.
Split Rail Fence worked with the Housing Authority and the Authority's architect to design the fence layout and style. The primary objective was to provide appropriate security to the facility, have a pleasant appearance and minimize costs
Split Rail Fence and Supply Company completed the installation in January, 2010. The Denver Housing Authority and the local homeowners were impressed with the appearance and quality of the fence. The project was completed on time, under budget and with minimal disruption. |

Protecting Revolutionary Technology
In the late summer, 2008 Split Rail Fence and Supply Company was selected to install a wind screen fence system for Sky Fuel, Inc. at its R& D Center in Arvada, Colorado.
