What is the best material to build a fence?

Should you use cedar or vinyl, ornamental iron or trex? Here’s a comparison of eight types of fencing materials.

What is the cheapest fence material?

Chain link fencing is the cheapest type of fencing material, but certainly not the most stylish. If you are looking for an affordable fencing material that still adds value to your home, we would recommend either split rail or cedar privacy fencing.

What is the most durable fence material?

If you do not need a privacy fence, wrought iron metal fences are the most durable option, especially to withstand the weather along the Colorado front range. If you would like a durable privacy fence, we would recommend using vinyl or trex fencing.
